The Oasis Club Lounge has a rich history beginning in 1887 as the home of the popular social group, the Oasis Club. The Oasis Club was known as the center of social activities for summer residents of Bar Harbor before World War I. At the time, the Lounge was the preferred gathering place in Bar Harbor for the likes of the Vanderbilts, Pulitzers, and Morgans.

Today, the Oasis Club Lounge at the Bar Harbor Inn is a modern facility offering an extensive drink list and light fare menu featuring fresh, locally inspired dishes—a perfect complement to the harbor views and summer sunsets.
