Our coastal themed gift shop is located in the Main Inn next to the front desk.
Offering a variety of clothing, pottery, bags and New England made gifts you will find many of these wonderful vendors in stock, Sea Bags, Cinder + Salt, Sea Wicks Candle Co., Casco Bay Glassworks, Maine Shell ware, North Country Wind Bells and more. Cold beverages and snacks are also available in the gift shop.
Outdoor Pool & Hot Tubs (Seasonal)
Our pool is located behind the spa building, to the right of the Main Inn and is open from 9am to dusk in season. The pool is 5 ½’ deep at its deepest end and is between 82 and 84 degrees. There are 2 hot tubs next to the ocean end of the pool. One hot tub is reserved for adults only. Both hot tubs are heated to between 102 and 104 degrees. Towels are provided at the pool area.
Fitness Room
Our fitness room is located on the base level of the spa building. Towels and water are provided.
Concierge
Our concierge will be delighted to provide you with information about the Bar Harbor area including Acadia National Park information, local restaurants, pubs and area attractions.

Located at the far end of the lower level of the Newport Building. We ask that children have adult supervision at all times.
Yoga (Seasonal)
Available from June through September at Bar Harbor Inn and Atlantic Oceanside Hotel, our sister property. Take a rejuvenating and relaxing yoga class guided by a Certified Yoga Instructor. Yoga classes are offered Monday through Saturday at the Bar Harbor Inn at 9am, and at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel at 7:30am. No experience or pre-registration is required; mats are provided. Shore Path
The start of the easy gravel waterfront walking path is located directly in front of the Main Inn and extends about ¾ of a mile along the waterfront. Stroll past spectacular views of the Porcupine Islands, historic Bar Harbor mansions and the rocky Maine coastline. At the end of the path you can cut up into downtown Main Street at the end of the path to walk back through town for a different view.
